Testing your water can be essential especially is there are signs of distress in your aquarium fish or shrimp.

TDS Pen can be a great tool for monitoring the build up of dissolved solids in the aquarium or when re-mineralising RO water fro freshwater and marine aquariums.

Measures the total dissolved solids ‘TDS’ in a solution.

TDS is directly related to quality of water i.e. the lower the TDS figure, the more pure the water. When using RO water it is recommended to always test with a TDS meter to ensure the purity.
By monitoriing the RO, revers osmosis water, you can decide when the RO filters need changing.
Reverse osmosis purified water should have a TDS between 0 and 10, whereas tap water will vary between 20 and 300
Supplied pre calibrated and measures TDS from 0 to 9999 ppm, 0 to 1000 in increments of 1 ppm.
